Delhi woke up on December 31 under a thick layer of dense fog, reducing visibility to as low as 50 meters in several areas. Partially cloudy conditions are expected throughout the day.

Air Quality (AQI)
Air pollution continues to remain in the ‘Severe’ category. The 24-hour average AQI in the morning ranged between 384 and 408. Certain areas such as Mundka (472) and IGI Airport (520) reported even higher pollution levels, posing health risks to sensitive groups.

Central & Eastern India:
Areas in Odisha, Jharkhand, and Chhattisgarh may experience cold wave conditions. Minimum temperatures in central and northwestern India are expected to remain below normal.
