The Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, has said that a meeting would be held on Thursday to take decision on enforcement of the Clinical Establishment Act. There are two Acts; one of the Central Government and another enacted by the state government. Decision will be taken on which one should be implemented in the state. He was interacting with media persons in Gurugram today.
When asked about some senior officers of the state government expressing their inability to attend the ‘Chintan Shivir’ to be held at Parwanoo in Himachal Pradesh from December 15 to 17, 2017, and wanting to be excused, Mr Manohar Lal said some officers had already made plans with their families and some had other urgent work to do. Therefore, they have been given relaxation.
Asked about the Uklana incident, the Chief Minister condemned it and said that the guilty should be given harsh punishment. The matter is being investigated thoroughly and efforts are being made to arrest the accused.
