The New and Renewable Energy Department, Haryana and HAREDA have extended the date of applying for State Energy Conservation Awards for eligible consumers for the year 2020-21 under various categories till February 22, 2022. Earlier the last date for submission of the applications was December 23, 2022.
The eligible candidates can submit their applications in the office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner of their respective districts.
Sharing more details in this regard, an official spokesman said that the State Energy Conservation Award is given to institutions that are making proper use of technology and energy efficiency. The award is also given to those industrial, commercial, government, institutional, group housing buildings that are doing excellent work in the field of energy conservation.
In addition, innovation or new technologies or R&D projects and promotional projects have also been included in this, added the spokesman.
The spokesman further informed that institutions doing best in research and innovation in energy conservation, energy efficiency, waste to energy and renewable energy sectors, efficient natural resource management can also apply for the State Energy Conservation Award.
The spokesman said that in these awards, the winning institution is given cash rewards, shields and certificates.
The spokesman further said that for information related to the guidelines under this scheme, applicants can log in to www.hareda.gov.in. Besides this, the applicants can also contact the New and Renewable Energy Department, Vikas Sadan on any working day.
