Congress will start homecoming campaign to strengthen the organization
MP Employees Forum says that the state government is adopting double standards in the matter of giving dearness allowance to 7.50 lakh employees of the state. While the state government has issued orders to the officers to pay them including cash arrears from the central date, orders have been issued to give dearness allowance to the employees of the state without area. Due to this, fierce dissatisfaction has spread among 7.50 lakh employees of the state.
The Madhya Pradesh Employees’ Forum will present a memorandum to the Chief Minister by protesting in front of the ministry on Monday during the lunch break, demanding the release of dearness allowance to the employees including arrears from the central government.
State President of Madhya Pradesh Employees Forum, Ashok Pandey said that the state government has issued an order to pay the officers the benefit of 4 percent dearness allowance in cash along with arrears from July 1, 2022. The same order has been issued to give the benefit of 4 percent dearness allowance from January 1, 2023, to the seventh pay scale employees of the state, which is not justified. The state government had made an agreement with the employees’ organizations that the employees would also be given the benefit of dearness allowance from the same date as the central employees.
But the government has been providing equal benefits to the officers for a long time by issuing orders to pay dearness allowance along with arrears at par with the employees of the Central Date Center. But from 2019 till now, it is always issuing orders to give the benefit of dearness allowance to the employees from the date of announcement. Central Education is not paying the outstanding arrears of dearness allowance similar to the center employees. Due to which the state government has saved Rs 800 crore for the employees of the state so far. To tell the employees, the government has issued an order to give the benefit of 38 percent dearness allowance equal to the central employees, but in reality the employees have still not received the same benefit of 38 percent dearness allowance as the central employees. Due to the issued order, there is no joy among the employees, but fierce dissatisfaction has spread.
At the same time, the government has not issued an order to give the benefit of 4 per cent dearness allowance to the permanent employees of sixth pay scale. The government is adopting double standards with the employees. Not giving the employees their real rights due to which the employee has now come on the path of agitation. PLC/GT
