It was around a decade ago that the National channel had a television serial which recreated the history. The serial “Chanakya” which was about the great Indian economist Chanakya depicted Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi in the main lead.
The man, who rewrote the myths about this great Indian economist, is back in action but this time as a director on television. His upcoming venture “Upanishad Ganga” will once again remold the mythical world. Apart from the world of small screen, Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s upcoming film “Mohalla 80” starring Kahani Ghar Ghar ki fame Sakshi Tanwar and Sunny Deol is eagerly awaited by the audience.
The serial “Upanishad Ganga” which is produced by Chinmaya Mission will be 52 episodes long and will bring out the essence of the Upanishadic teachings. The serial will star Bollywood actor Abhimanyu Singh and will be aired on Doordarshan from 11THMarch from 10 to 10.30 AM.
