📰 Box Office India: Dhurandhar Stays Unbeaten as New Releases Compete for Space

The Indian box office remains firmly under the grip of ‘Dhurandhar’, even as new releases hit theaters at the start of the New Year. Dharmendra’s final film ‘Ikkis’ made its theatrical debut on Thursday, while Kartik Aaryan’s ‘Tu Meri Main Tera…’ continued to struggle amid stiff competition. Hollywood release ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ also maintained a steady presence.

🎬 Ikkis Opening Day Box Office Collection

According to industry tracker Sacnilk, Ikkis collected ₹7 crore on its opening day. The performance is considered solid, especially as the film marks the lead debut of Agastya Nanda, grandson of Amitabh Bachchan. For comparison, Kartik Aaryan’s romantic drama had also opened at similar numbers despite featuring established stars.

📉 Kartik Aaryan Film Faces Slowdown

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri earned only ₹1.35 crore on Day 8, taking its total collection to ₹30.2 crore. The film has struggled to gain momentum against big-ticket releases like Dhurandhar and the newly released Ikkis.

🔥 Dhurandhar Continues Box Office Rampage

Even after 28 days in theaters, Dhurandhar shows no signs of slowing down. The film collected an impressive ₹15.75 crore on Thursday, pushing its total box office haul to a massive ₹739 crore, reaffirming its blockbuster status.

🌍 Avatar: Fire and Ash Holds Steady

James Cameron’s Hollywood spectacle Avatar: Fire and Ash earned ₹6.50 crore on its 14th day, with total India collections now standing at ₹159.90 crore.
