The morning was the coldest in Delhi’s Pusa area. The lowest minimum temperature here was recorded at 3.2 degrees. At the same time, the minimum temperature was recorded at 3.8 degrees Celsius in Aya Nagar, 4.4 in Lodhi Road, 4.7 in Narela, 6 in Palam and 6.4 degrees Celsius in Ridge. At the same time, the minimum temperature in Gautam Buddha Nagar was recorded at 5.5 degrees. On the other hand, it has reached 4.8 degrees Celsius in Gurugram.
The temperature is expected to fall further in the coming days. In such a situation, an alert has been issued for moderate to dense fog on Friday and Saturday. At the same time, a warning of cold wave has also been issued for two days. During this time the maximum temperature can reach 22 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature can reach 4 degrees Celsius.
In the plains, when the minimum temperature is 10 degrees or below and 4.5-6.4 degrees Celsius less than normal, then a cold wave occurs. At the same time, severe cold occurs when it is 6.5 or less than normal.
If the temperature goes to 4 degrees Celsius or below, then it is also considered a cold wave. At the same time, severe cold wave occurs at 2 degrees Celsius. In the hilly areas, a cold wave occurs when the temperature goes to zero degrees Celsius or below.
