New Delhi : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to launch a groundbreaking campaign aimed at integrating Muslim women into the political discourse. Commencing on January 2nd, the BJP Minority Morcha will roll out the ‘Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan’ campaign across all parliamentary constituencies in Uttar Pradesh.

Campaign Objectives and Approach

Under this initiative, the Minority Morcha plans to organize events in every constituency, with a target of connecting at least 1,000 Muslim women to the political process. The campaign’s tagline, “No distance, no gap; Modi is our brother,” encapsulates the essence of the initiative.

Kunwar Basit Ali, the President of the BJP Minority Morcha in Uttar Pradesh, highlighted that the program aims to inform Muslim women about the initiatives undertaken by the Narendra Modi-led government for their welfare. It also aims to elucidate why these women should consider supporting the BJP in the upcoming elections.

Showcasing Government Initiatives

During these events, attendees will be briefed on various government schemes, including the Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, and the increased Haj quota. The objective is to underscore the positive impact these programs have had on the lives of Muslim women and encourage their active participation in the electoral process.

Ali emphasized that through these gatherings, efforts will be made to convey the benefits of schemes like Ujjwala Yojana, which has provided houses to Muslim women, and the equitable distribution of benefits among the Muslim population under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Addressing Concerns and Gaining Support

The campaign will also address specific concerns and queries of Muslim women, fostering an environment for open dialogue. The BJP aims to dispel any misconceptions and provide a platform for direct interaction between the community and the party.

Ali stated that the ‘Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan’ campaign, running from January 2nd to January 20th, seeks to build on the positive response received during recent interactions with Muslim women across all districts of Uttar Pradesh. It aims to extend gratitude to Modi for prioritizing Muslim women in various government schemes and fortifying the bond of brotherhood.

Elevating Women’s Status: A Focused Approach

Underlining the success of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in providing homes to Muslim women and the enhanced Haj quota, Ali highlighted the improved safety measures for women in the state and increased female participation in various government initiatives.

The choice of the campaign’s name, ‘Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan,’ signifies the acknowledgment of Modi’s efforts in fostering a strong bond of brotherhood by prioritizing Muslim women in diverse schemes.
