Burdwan: BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday slammed the government of Mamata Banerjee while addressing a rally in her backyard.
Speaking to the people here, Shah said after Jharkhand, Maharashtra and Haryana the BJP will next form the government in West Bengal.
“Elections are now due in Delhi, then Bihar and then West Bengal. In Bengal also, the BJP will form government,” he said exuding confidence.
“Bengal can develop only when Narendra Modi-led BJP forms government here and the Mamata-led government is thrown out,” the BJP president said.
He teared into Mamata’s rule, saying she has given worse governance than even the Leftists who were toppled from power after 34 years in office.
While listing out Modi government’s achievements so far, Shah said the BJP government at the Centre is fulfilling all the promises made in the run-up to 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
