BJP’s aim is to include about one lakh leaders and workers of other parties in the party before the general elections. The number of Congressmen among them is high. BJP claims that in Madhya Pradesh alone, 17 thousand Congressmen have joined the party in the last 80 days.

BJP claims that 17 thousand Congressmen including former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri, 6 former MLAs, 1 Mayor, 205 councilors and sarpanches and 500 former public representatives have joined BJP. Former Home Minister Narottam Mishra, convenor of BJP’s new joining group, says that a record has been made. Till the elections, we will make 70 thousand to 1 lakh Congressmen join BJP. If there is a provision for such a record in the Guinness Book, then our preparations are complete.
