BJP is busy in cultivating the whole of South India – has made big preparations
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has started its preparations ahead of the Karnataka Assembly elections. For this, a plan is ready to take out Rath Yatra from the northern and southern parts of the state, in which all the 224 constituencies of the state will be included. This Yatra will start immediately after the completion of the existing Jan Sankalp Yatra. The party has taken the decision amid discussions that Congress is planning to travel across the state ahead of the elections. And two separate team buses will travel under the leadership of Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar and Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah.
Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, “During the Jan Sankalp Yatra, we are visiting assembly constituencies to mobilize the common people in our favor and organize the party at the grassroots level. The visit is receiving widespread support and response. We are seeing wave in favor of BJP. With the support of the people, there is a new sense of confidence in our workers. After this yatra, we are going to start the Rath Yatra from both the north and south directions, covering all the 224 assembly constituencies, he said. Assembly elections are due in the state after about five months. The state unit of the party will travel to Udupi, Gadag, Haveri and Belagavi districts in the next three days. The BJP had started the Jan Sankalp Yatra from Raichur last month.
As per the schedule, two parties of the party are scheduled to travel to 52 assembly constituencies across the state before December 25. In this, one party is being led by Chief Minister and Yediyurappa and the other party is being led by BJP’s state unit president Nalin Kumar Kateel. Bommai had said that the party’s ST (Scheduled Tribe) Morcha’s conference would be held in Bellary on November 20 and the SC (Scheduled Caste) Morcha’s rally would be held in Mysore on November 30.
