BJP government in Gujarat for 27 years – will Kejriwal do something amazing
Assembly elections are to be held in Gujarat in December this year. With the election date approaching, the political temperature of the state has also gone up. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are going to hold public meetings here on Sunday.
While PM Modi will leave for a three-day tour of Gujarat today, CM Kejriwal has reached here on Saturday only. Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann will jointly address two rallies in the state today. The PM will participate in various public meetings along with launching development projects worth Rs 14,600 crore in the state.
Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several projects worth about Rs 3,900 crore in Modhera village of Mehsana district in the evening. He will also declare Modhera as the first village in India to run on 24-hour solar power. Apart from offering prayers at Modheshwari Mata Temple, the Prime Minister will also visit the Sun Temple in Modhera. PM Modi will also inaugurate the first phase of ‘Modi Shikshak Sankul’, an educational complex for needy students, in Ahmedabad on Monday.
This project will provide various facilities to the students for holistic development. On Monday evening, Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 1,460 crore in Jamnagar. He will address a gathering at Jamkandorna in Rajkot district on Tuesday. Obviously, the inauguration and foundation stone laying programs just before the elections have been made keeping the voters in mind. At the same time, both AAP leaders will address public meetings at Dharampur in tribal-dominated Valsad district and Kadodara in Surat district.
AAP national convenor Kejriwal and Mann had addressed a public meeting in Dahod city on Saturday. After this he participated in ‘Tiranga Yatra’ in Vadodara. Significantly, AAP is trying to establish itself as the main opposition party of BJP in Gujarat. There is a BJP government in Gujarat for 27 years. PLC/GT
