Congress-RJD Alliance Gears Up to Challenge NDA
The Congress Party is contesting the Bihar elections in alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Left parties like CPI and CPI(ML). The alliance is preparing to take on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), comprising the BJP, JD(U), LJP (Ram Vilas), HAM, and other regional allies.
Although the Congress has yet to announce the official seat-sharing formula, the party recently concluded its “Voter Rights Yatra”, which was organized across multiple districts of Bihar. Rahul Gandhi and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav jointly led the campaign. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Harish Rawat stated that this election would be a turning point, saying, “This time, Bihar will show the nation the path of change.”
