If you look at the list of bank holidays for the month of March available on the official website of the Reserve Bank of India, then in March 2023, banks will remain closed for 12 days in different states, including weekends. February month of 2023 is just about to end. In such a situation, people will have to run their work through online services during these bank holidays. The first bank holiday starts from Chapchar Kut on 3rd March and other holidays like Gudi Padwa/Ugadi festival/Bihar Divas are falling on 22nd March. Banks in some states will observe holidays as per RBI calendar. There are four Sundays in March which are falling on 5,12,19 and 26 March. The second and fourth Saturdays are on March 11 and 25. Under the Negotiable Instruments Act, RBI has declared a holiday on 3, 7, 8, 9, 22 and 30 March. Apart from this, there are six bank holidays in March 2023 as per the RBI calendar.
