Aatishi will be the new Chief Minister of Delhi. Today, a meeting of the legislative party was held at Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. In this meeting, Kejriwal proposed Atishi’s name in front of all the MLAs. Which was supported by all the MLAs. Her name was also leading in the race. Atishi belongs to a Punjabi family. She did her primary education in Delhi. And is a graduate from Oxford University.
Many names were included in the race for the post of Chief Minister. Apart from current cabinet members Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, other names were also included including Kuldeep Kumar, who was the candidate from East Delhi Lok Sabha, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Rakhi Bidlan. But Atishi’s name has been approved.
Dilip Pandey proposed that Arvind Kejriwal should decide the name of the Chief Minister. All the MLAs have supported the proposal. All the MLAs stood up and accepted the proposal. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has proposed the name of Delhi Minister Atishi as the new Chief Minister. She has been elected as the leader of the AAP Legislative Party.
As soon as Atishi’s name was announced, BJP’s national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari targeted her and said that Arvind Kejriwal wants to make a puppet/temporary person the Chief Minister of Delhi. He does not trust his party. That is why he wants to make someone weaker than him the Chief Minister in the party. There is an internal power struggle going on in AAP. The people of Delhi are troubled due to this internal power struggle. In the upcoming elections, the contest is going to be public versus AAP. Whereas BJP will become the medium of the people of Delhi.
On the news of Delhi government minister Atishi being made the new Chief Minister of Delhi, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said that Arvind Kejriwal has made her under compulsion because even if he wanted, he could not get the Chief Minister of his choice made. Atishi was given all the departments on Manish Sisodia’s behest and Atishi was made the Chief Minister under Manish Sisodia’s pressure.
