New Delhi, India — November 18, 2025:
Home Minister Amit Shah issued a forceful statement following the Delhi car bomb blast, vowing to pursue the culprits “even from the netherworld” if required. His remarks come amid rising public anger and nationwide concern over the shocking explosion that damaged multiple vehicles and triggered fears of a larger terror network.
Shah said the government maintains an “absolute zero-tolerance policy” toward terrorism and assured citizens that agencies are working in coordination to identify and arrest those responsible. He emphasized that India “will not allow its capital to be threatened by cowards,” adding that investigators have uncovered “critical leads” pointing to a well-planned attempt to destabilize peace in Delhi.
Security agencies, including the NIA and Delhi Police Special Cell, are examining CCTV footage, digital trails, and possible cross-border linkages. Early inputs suggest the use of sophisticated materials, prompting concern about external support. Officials are also probing whether the blast was meant as a diversion for a larger plot.
The Home Minister urged the public to remain calm while assuring that the perpetrators “will face consequences they cannot imagine.” Additional security checkpoints and patrolling have been deployed across sensitive zones in the capital.
The blast has triggered significant political and public reaction, with citizens demanding swift justice. The government has reiterated that national security remains its top priority and that no effort will be spared in eliminating terror threats.
