The spiritual gateway to salvation is now open. The registration for Amarnath Yatra 2025 began today, April 14, with devotees from across India and the globe rushing to secure their slots for one of Hinduism’s most sacred pilgrimages.
Organized by the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB), this year’s pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath Cave Temple — home to the naturally formed ice Shiva Lingam — will be held from July 3 to August 9, 2025, spanning a total of 38 days.

Valid ID proof
Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) issued after April 15, 2025
Pay the registration fee (approx. ₹150–₹200).
Receive confirmation via email/SMS.
🏦 Offline Registration
Over 540 bank branches of Punjab National Bank, SBI, Jammu & Kashmir Bank, and Yes Bank are designated for offline registration.

Pahalgam Route (Traditional):
Distance: ~36–48 km
Duration: 3–5 days (one-way)
Preferred by those seeking a gradual spiritual ascent
Baltal Route (Shorter):
Distance: ~14 km
Duration: 1–2 days
Steeper and more challenging, suitable for quick darshan
✈️ Helicopter Services and RFID Tracking
Helicopter bookings from Baltal and Pahalgam will soon open. Registered pilgrims will also be issued RFID tags to ensure movement tracking and enhanced safety during the pilgrimage.
🩺 Mandatory Health Certificate: No Entry Without It
All pilgrims must carry a Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC) from authorized institutions dated post April 15, 2025. This ensures the pilgrim is medically fit for the high-altitude trek.
Age Eligibility: 13 to 70 years
Not Allowed: Pregnant women (over 6 weeks)
