Sources related to Air India have given this information. He said that the decision to increase the salary will be effective from April 1, 2024. Whereas in the financial year 2023-24, bonus is also being given to the employees on the basis of performance.
According to sources, Air India‘s Chief Human Resources Officer Ravindra Kumar GP announced salary hike and performance bonus to the employees.
There are about 18,000 employees associated with the airline. However, it was not immediately known what was the scope of this salary increase. This is the first time that the salary of its employees has increased after the control of Air India passed from the government to the Tata Group in January 2022.
Last year, only contract restructuring and compensation of old employees was done. Sources said that apart from the salary hike scheduled for FY 2023-24, the airline has also introduced a component of annual target performance bonus for its pilots based on company and individual performance which will be applicable from FY 2024-25. .
