The economy of Bhutan has been in rapid decline. To deal with this situation, the Bhutan government has decided to restrict imports.
Bhutan has started taking quick decisions in view of the situation of the economy and foreign exchange crisis. Seeing the condition of Sri Lanka, Bhutan seems to have started efforts to control the economy in time.
India’s international trade balance is disturbed. The value of rupee is continuously depreciating against the dollar. Imports are increasing, exports are decreasing.
