Jimmy Shergill launched the trailer of his forthcoming Punjabi movie ‘Rangeelay’, here today. ‘It is a perfect mix of romance and humour and I am hoping my audience would love it as much as I do”, said, Jimmy, during the media interaction at Kapsons, who are the official promotion partners of the movie. The movie’s director Navniat Singh shared that this Neha Dhupia’s first Punjabi film and the audience will see her and she has done a good job with it. Big names like Neha Dhupia as the lead actor, will take Punjabi Cinema to newer heights, he added. Navaniat Singh is a Mumbai based film director and started his career as a chief assistant director in 2002 film Asa Nu Maan Watna Da. His debut film as a director was Tera Mera Ki Rishta in 2009, which became a huge hit and his second film Mel Karade Rabba became the highest grossing film of Punjabi cinema, establishing him one of the leading directors. His third film Dharti, also saw Jimmy Shergill in the lead role and has been one of the biggest multi starrer in Punjabi Cinema. The movie is a joint production by Eros International and Jimmy Shergill Productions. After Dharti (2011) and Taur Mittran Di (2012), this film is the third production under Jimmy Sheirgill Productions.
