FOUR PERSONS INCLUDING TWO SRI LANKAN MIGRANTS ARRESTED

New Delhi.With the arrest of (1) Sarvesh Yadav aged 36 years s/o Chhakku Lal Yadav r/o B-4,222B, DDA Flats Lawrence Road, Keshav Puram, New Delhi; (2) Kandiah Vishvanathamuthaly aged 48 years s/o Kandiah r/o B-III, No. 45 2nd floor, Thacha Arunachalam Street, Mylapore, Chennai; (3) T.Vickna Rajah aged 56 years s/o Thurai Rajah r/o H.No. 249A, Rama Market Munirka Village, New Delhi and (4) Padma Das @ Mama aged 60 years s/o George r/o 241A, Rama Market, Munirka Village, New Delhi, the Special Staff of Central District has busted a module consisting of Indian and migrant Srilankan travel agents who were procuring forged/altered Indian passport and Visas and were also engaged in manufacturing fake Indian Passports

INCIDENT AND TEAM

A secret information was received that two persons namely Sarvesh and Vishwanath who are actively involved in the illegal business of preparing forged Passports/Visas/Stickers documents specially for Sri Lankan nationals by making alteration in passport would come near Gandhi Darshan Parking, Power House Road, Delhi at about 12 PM for delivery of altered passport/Visa and other documents to Jagdish Hooda, the main kingpin of the racket.

Subsequent to this information, a team consisting of SI Vivekanand, SI Yogendra Kr., HC. Brij Pal, HC Narender, Ct. Naresh Kr., Ct Vijay, Ct Devender, Ct. Nazir Haider and Ct. Adesh Tyagi was constituted under the supervision of Inspr. Satendra Mohan I/C Special staff, Central District, Delhi.

The team laid a trap around Gandhi Darshan Parking in plain clothes.  At about 12:20 PM, at the instance of informer, two persons were apprehended. They were identified as (1) Sarvesh Yadav r/o Keshav Puram, Delhi and (2) Kandiah Vishvanathamuthaly r/o Chennai.  On their search, four passports including two forged Indian passport of Srilankan nationals, one laptop, one Canadian Embassy Visa Sticker and other objectionable documents were recovered.  Consequently, case FIR No. 204/09 u/s 420/468/471 IPC, 12 Foreigners Act and 15 Passport Act was registered at PS I.P. Estate, Delhi and investigation was take up.

INVESTIGATION & INTERROGATION      

On sustained interrogation, they disclosed that they are engaged in procuring forged/altered Indian passports and Visas.  They are working for one Jagdish Hooda who is the kingpin of the racket and the dismissed Constable of Delhi Police.  They further stated that one of their associates Mama living in Munirka is the right hand of kingpin Jagdish and one Srilankan migrant has been kept by Jagdish in the house of Mama as the migrant is waiting for a Visa for Europe.  At their instance, Mama was apprehended with one Srilankan migrant from his house and their identity was disclosed as Pathma Das @ Mama and T.Vickna Rajah.  Three Passports, Ultra Violet featured thread being used for stitching passport, Lamination paper printed “Bharat Sarkaar” used to make Bio-data page of Passport, Glossy(Glassing) Papers being used to make forged Passports, Blank papers to prepare forged passport, Chemical Bottle and Other stationery items for alteration and fabrication were also recovered from their possession.

 On further investigation it was revealed that this gang has recently sent six Srilankan Nationals to Tashkent who had been detained by the local authorities. This gang used to send the illegal migrants to different destinations in Europe/USA/Canada on the basis of forged documents such as fake Indian Passport, stolen/forged Visa stickers. Their associates are present in countries like UK and France who were Srilankan nationals and facilitating the transit of other illegal migrants.  It was also revealed that one Mathvan of Chennai is providing stolen/forged Visa stickers to Jagdish Hooda through Kandiah Vishvanathamuthaly and recently five German Visa stickers were supplied to Jagdish Hooda by him.  Efforts are being made to arrest the kingpin Jagdish and their accomplices and to effect more recovery.
