A senior leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has described Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the “best representative” of the organization’s values, while outlining a vision for India’s rise as a global leader by 2047.

RSS Praises Modi’s Leadership Approach

RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said that Prime Minister Modi is promoting the organization’s principles in a unique and evolving manner.

Speaking during an interaction with media in Washington, D.C., Hosabale noted that while the language used by the government may differ, many initiatives reflect core RSS values.

He pointed to campaigns such as self-reliance and environmental awareness as examples aligned with the organization’s long-term vision.

Five Key Focus Areas

Hosabale said the RSS has identified five priorities for the next 25 years:

  • Social harmony
  • Cultural awareness
  • Civic discipline
  • Family values
  • Sustainable development

He said these pillars are central to strengthening India’s social fabric and long-term progress.

RSS–BJP Relationship Continues

Highlighting the historical link between the RSS and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Hosabale said the association has remained consistent since the party’s founding in 1980.

He added that the ideological connection continues to influence governance and policy direction.

Vision for 2047

Looking ahead, Hosabale said that by 2047, India is expected to emerge not only as an economic powerhouse but also as a global leader offering spiritual and civilizational guidance.

He emphasized that India’s growth trajectory combines economic strength with cultural heritage, positioning it to play a larger global role.

Expanding Influence

Hosabale also noted the increasing presence of the RSS across political, social, and cultural spheres, describing it as part of a broader effort to promote national unity and global harmony.
