The official teaser for The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond, the sequel to the 2023 blockbuster The Kerala Story, has generated significant attention since its release.
Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah and co-produced by Aashin A. Shah under Sunshine Pictures, the film is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kamakhya Narayan Singh. It features a new cast, including Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha in lead roles.
The teaser presents intense visuals centered on three young women who face challenging circumstances involving relationships and religious conversion. The narrative expands beyond the original film’s setting, maintaining a serious and dramatic tone.
Unlike the first film directed by Sudipto Sen, this sequel introduces fresh faces and stories. The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond is set for a nationwide theatrical release on February 27, 2026.
