Sunny Deol–starrer Border 2 continues its dominant run at the box office, delivering a record-breaking performance on its fourth day and officially entering the ₹200 crore worldwide club. The film witnessed a massive surge in collections on Republic Day, outperforming several major action and war dramas released in recent years.
Released four days ahead of Republic Day, Border 2 opened to strong numbers and has maintained steady growth with each passing day. The patriotic holiday proved especially beneficial, helping the film register its highest single-day collection since release.
Border 2 Day-Wise Box Office Collection (India)
Day 1: ₹30 crore
Day 2: ₹36.50 crore
Day 3: ₹54.50 crore
Day 4 (Republic Day): ₹59 crore
With this, Border 2 recorded over ₹50 crore on Day 4 alone, marking its biggest single-day haul so far.
Total Box Office Collection So Far
At the Indian box office, Border 2 has collected approximately ₹180 crore in four days. While the film narrowly missed joining the domestic ₹200 crore club on Republic Day, it comfortably crossed the milestone in worldwide earnings.
Border 2 Worldwide Box Office Performance
The film has delivered a strong overseas performance as well, taking its global collection to ₹239.20 crore. This makes Border 2 the second-highest worldwide grosser among Indian films released in January, surpassing several high-profile releases.
Notably, the film overtook the South Indian release The Raja Saab, which had earned ₹205.66 crore globally.
Records Broken on Day 4
On its fourth day, Border 2 surpassed the Day 4 box office collections of several major films:
✅ Beat Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter (₹39.50 crore on Day 4)
✅ Surpassed Chhaava (₹24 crore on Day 4)
✅ Outperformed Dhurandhar (₹23.25 crore on Day 4)
However, Border 2 fell short of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which had collected ₹70.5 crore on its fourth day.
Strong Momentum Continues
With strong word-of-mouth, patriotic appeal, and sustained audience interest, Border 2 is expected to continue its successful run in the coming days. Trade analysts are closely watching whether the film will cross the ₹200 crore mark at the Indian box office in its first week.
