The Monday box office test brought mixed results for films currently running in theatres. Newly released titles Rahu-Ketu and The Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos recorded a major dip, while long-running blockbusters Dhurandhar and The Raja Saab delivered modest numbers. Here’s the complete Monday collection report, based on Sacnilk estimates.
‘Rahu-Ketu’ Faces a Sharp Fall
The Pulkit Samrat and Varun Sharma-starrer Rahu-Ketu, which collected ₹1.75 crore on Sunday, witnessed a massive drop on Monday. On its fourth day, the film earned only ₹4 lakh, bringing its total box office collection to ₹4.8 crore. The Monday crash signals weak word-of-mouth and minimal audience traction.
‘The Happy Patel’ Fails the Monday Test
The Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos, directed by and starring Vir Das with a cameo by Aamir Khan, also failed to attract footfalls. After earning ₹1.5 crore on Sunday, the film collected only ₹4 lakh on Monday. The total now stands at ₹4.75 crore. Despite known faces, the film has not connected with audiences.
‘Dhurandhar’ Shows Stability
Ranveer Singh’s mega-hit Dhurandhar continues its strong box office journey even after 46 days. The film collected ₹1.40 crore on Monday, compared to ₹3.75 crore on Sunday. With a total of ₹826.50 crore, the film remains a massive blockbuster. Fans are eagerly waiting for Dhurandhar 2, scheduled to release on 19 March 2026.
‘The Raja Saab’ Continues to Decline
Prabhas’ The Raja Saab experienced another dip on Monday. On its 11th day, the film earned ₹1.15 crore, significantly lower than Sunday’s ₹2.6 crore. The total box office collection now stands at ₹140.50 crore. Despite a strong opening week, the momentum appears to be slowing.
Overall Box Office Trend
As expected, Monday collections dropped for most films. While newcomers struggled to retain audiences, established hits like Dhurandhar continued to bring in steady numbers. The coming days will determine whether Rahu-Ketu and The Happy Patel can survive their weekday declines.
