Pan-India superstar Prabhas continues to dominate the box office as his latest release The Raja Saab has registered a massive worldwide opening of approximately ₹146.39 crore.

The performance marks a significant milestone for Prabhas, making him the only Indian actor to have six films achieve a worldwide opening day gross exceeding ₹100 crore. The previous films in this list include Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Saaho, Adipurush, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, and Kalki 2898 AD.

Early trade reports indicate solid performance in India, with net collections across all languages estimated at ₹53-63 crore. The film performed particularly well in Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), contributing over ₹47 crore net. The Hindi belt saw a more moderate start around ₹6 crore.

Overseas markets added approximately ₹25-30 crore to the opening day total.

Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab is a horror-comedy and marks Prabhas’s first outing in the genre. The film also features Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhi Agerwal, and Boman Irani in key roles.

Despite the impressive box office start, the film has received mixed reviews from critics and audiences. Prabhas’s vintage styling and comedy timing have drawn particular praise.

Produced on a high budget, the film’s digital rights have reportedly been acquired by JioHotstar, with a potential OTT release expected in February 2026.
