Telugu star Teja Sajja, celebrated for HanuMan and his recent release Mirai, has addressed the frequent online trolling of South actors’ Hindi accents. In recent interviews, he explained his preference for English: “Meri Hindi mein Hyderabadi slang aa jaata hai,” adding that he doesn’t take trolling seriously at all. “It doesn’t affect me,” he stated firmly.
Turning to Bollywood aspirations, Teja playfully requested a romantic role in a Dharma Productions film, joking: “Ask Karan sir when he’s casting me in a chakachak Dharma love story—I want that experience too.” He later clarified that discussions with Karan Johar are genuinely underway, praising the filmmaker as “very kind and sweet” and noting Dharma’s exploration of new projects.
Teja rose to prominence with the 2024 hit HanuMan. His latest film, Mirai (released September 2025), is a mythological fantasy-action thriller directed by Karthik Gattamneni, co-starring Manchu Manoj and Shriya Saran. The movie received Hindi distribution support from Dharma Productions.
The actor remains unfazed by criticism while focusing on diverse, pan-India roles.
