Global Oil Markets Set to Stabilize as OPEC Plans November Production Hike

OPEC to Increase Oil Production in November 2025

Countries in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) have decided to raise oil production in November, citing favorable market conditions and global economic stability. The group announced an increase of 137,000 barrels per day, following a similar modest rise scheduled for October.

OPEC, a coalition of 22 oil-producing nations, has been gradually increasing production in 2025 after significant cuts in 2023 and 2024.

Key Players and Participating Nations

Saudi Arabia and Russia, the coalition’s most influential members, played a central role in the decision. Other participating countries include Iraq, the UAE, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria, and Oman.

OPEC emphasized that this decision is flexible and could be paused or reversed depending on global market conditions. The next OPEC meeting is scheduled for November 2, 2025.

The gradual increase in production is expected to stabilize crude oil prices, balancing global supply and demand after previous cuts.
