The jets will be assembled at a new facility in Nagpur, placing India among a small club of countries capable of producing high-end business class jets.
India to Assemble Falcon 2000 Jets for Global Market
The announcement, made at the Paris Air Show, marks the first time Falcon 2000 jets will be built outside France. Dassault will transfer its technology to Reliance Aerostructure Ltd, a Reliance Infra subsidiary, enabling the production of these elite aircrafts entirely in India. The jets, popular among wealthy private clients, typically carry 8–10 passengers.
