In a major update for government job aspirants in Bihar, the Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has extended the last date to apply for 6607 vacancies across Pharmacist, Dentist, and Dresser posts. Candidates now have until April 16, 2025, to complete their online applications.
This extension comes as a relief to thousands of aspirants, especially those still awaiting their Bihar State Pharmacy Council registration certificate.
✅ What’s New in the BTSC Recruitment Update?
As per the latest notification, the application window that was originally open from March 11 to April 8, 2025, has now been extended to April 16. The revised schedule allows more time for candidates to fulfill eligibility requirements and submit valid documents.
A significant relaxation has also been announced for Dentist applicants. Clause 6 (III) regarding internship continuity has been removed, though candidates must still complete a 12-month mandatory internship from a hospital recognized by the Indian Dental Council.

🎓 Educational Qualifications
Pharmacist
Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) with Science
Diploma in Pharmacy (Part I, II & III) from a government-recognized institute
Must be registered with Bihar Pharmacy Council
Dresser
Passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent
Possess a CMD Certificate from Bihar Government/recognized institute
Dentist
Must hold a BDS degree or equivalent from a DCI-recognized university
12-month internship required in a recognized hospital

37 years for General Male
