Misri reiterated that India remains committed to supporting its nationals abroad while ensuring that the repatriation process is carried out with dignity and respect. He addressed concerns regarding the use of restraints on deported individuals, stating that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deportation have been in place since 2012.
