Israel’s air strike on northern Gaza, 30 people killed, mostly women and children

Beirut – Israel has again fired rockets in northern Gaza. Palestinian medical officials have claimed that at least 30 people have died in the air strike carried out by Israel in Gaza, most of whom are women and children. They said that 10 people, including four children and two women, were killed in the Gaza Strip in the attack on Tuesday morning, while at least 20 people were killed in the city of Beit Lahiya in the attack late on Monday night.

Israel has been targeting northern Gaza on a large scale for about a month and has warned to completely evacuate Beit Lahiya, the nearby city of Beit Hunan and the urban Jabaliya refugee camp. It has allowed almost no humanitarian aid to be delivered for the last one month. The casualties were brought to the nearest hospital. Hospital director Hussam Abu Safia said that on Monday Israel attacked a building in the city of Beit Lahiya where several families were taking shelter. The list of the dead released by the emergency service of the Gaza Health Ministry includes eight women and six children. There has been no immediate comment from the Israeli army in this matter.
