He said that the leader of the Conservative Party of Canada has ignored the feelings of the community. This decision shows that for some leaders the importance of cultural celebrations is less than politics. The Indian community lives in Canada with a population of about 2.5 million.

The Forum has appealed to the communities to unite in the upcoming elections and choose the right leader to protect their cultural rights and values.
