Amazon India’s exports will cross $13 billion this year

Mumbai  : E-commerce giant Amazon’s export program Amazon Global Selling will cross the $13 billion mark in total e-commerce exports from India by the end of 2024. A global businessman of Amazon India said that the company is on its way to achieving its export target of $20 billion by the year 2025. He said that since the start of the export program in the year 2015, more than 40 crore India-made products have been sold to customers around the world.

He said at the launch event of Amazon’s annual export report that when we started, we had set a target of $10 billion in total exports from small and medium businesses by 2025. In the year 2020, we doubled this target to $20 billion. We are very happy to inform that by the end of 2024, we will have exported $13 billion.

He said that it took almost eight years for Amazon to achieve exports of eight billion dollars (2015-2023) and in just one year (2023-2024) it is going to increase to $13 billion. He said that in the last 12 months, Amazon’s seller program has added about 50,000 new sellers and the total number of sellers has increased to 1.50 lakh. He said these sellers have sold a total of more than 40 crore India-made products to customers around the world.
