Amaravati : South superstar Junior NTR has made a significant contribution to the flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, donating Rs 50 lakh each to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund of both states. This generous act comes in response to the devastating floods caused by recent heavy rains, which have displaced thousands and caused widespread destruction in the affected regions.
Junior NTR announced his donation on Instagram, expressing his deep concern for the people impacted by the floods. He shared his support for the relief efforts of the state governments and prayed for a swift recovery for the affected communities.
In addition to Junior NTR’s donation, the makers of the film Kalki 2898 AD have contributed Rs 25 lakh to the relief fund. The ongoing rains and floods have severely affected various parts of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, leading to the cancellation of approximately 140 trains and the evacuation of over 17,000 people. The natural disaster has caused significant infrastructure damage and disruptions in transportation.
On the professional front, Junior NTR is set to star in the upcoming film Devra, which features Janhvi Kapoor in a leading role and is slated for release on 10,10, 2024.
