“It has been decided that Pathaan, the fifth highest grossing Indian film in history and the number one Indian box office blockbuster of 2023, will release on Friday, September 1,” Japanese website Cinema Cafe revealed the news. Let us tell you that Pathaan is the highest grosser film at the Indian box office. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film did a business of 543.05 crores at the ticket window.
After this the film was also launched on Prime Video where the audience streamed the film fiercely. Apart from Shahrukh in the film, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana, Dimple Kapadia were in important roles. Salman Khan also had a cameo in the film, which was well received by the fans.
Pathaan is part of Yash Raj Films’ Spy Universe. Earlier films like Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai and War have been made under it. Significantly, the new film Tiger 3 of this universe is going to be released soon. Salman Khan is once again going to be seen in action mode in the film.
On the work front, after Pathaan, Shah Rukh is soon returning to the screen with Jawan. The film is directed by Atlee. Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi are also with him in this film.
