On the way to Kedarnath, the yatra had to be stopped due to the breaking of the glacier on Thursday. The Bhairav Glacier broke down on the foot of the yatra, blocking the way between Bhairav Gadera and Kuber Gadera. Hence the travel was banned. Here, the administration has asked the pilgrims of Char Dham to stay.

The Meteorological Department has predicted the formation of a cyclone in the southeast of the Bay of Bengal by May 9. DG Mrityunjay Mohapatra of the Central Meteorological Department said that on May 6, a low pressure area is forming in the Bay of Bengal. After this there are indications of cyclone formation.
Mocha cyclone will rise from the Bay of Bengal
Mohapatra said that the cyclone is expected to move towards the central Bay of Bengal. Due to this, winds can blow at a speed of 40 to 50 kmph. The name of the cyclone will be Mocha. Yemen has named it after a port city on the Red Sea.
