After a hiatus of four years, the multi-talented Dhanush, who last produced ‘Maari 2’ in 2018 under his Wunderbar Films banner, is all set to bring his next production venture to the big screen. This time around, the acclaimed actor will be teaming up with director Mari Selvaraj once again, after their successful collaboration in the movie ‘Karnan’. Moreover, Dhanush himself will also be playing the lead role in the upcoming project, which was announced by the actor just recently.
Dhanush took to social media to share a photo of him along with director Mari Selvaraj, with the caption, “A prestigious project which is special for so many reasons. Om Namashivaya”. On the other hand, Mari Selvaraj expressed his excitement on collaborating with Dhanush again by posting, “Extremely overwhelmed to announce this on the same day as Karnan’s release. I am exhilarated and filled with gratitude in joining hands with @dhanushkraja sir once again”.
The forthcoming film will be produced jointly by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and Zee Studios South. While Dhanush is currently shooting for his movie ‘Captain Miller’ with director Arun Matheshwaran, Mari Selvaraj will be directing his film with Dhruv Vikram first before working with Dhanush.
