The festival of Karva Chauth will be celebrated on 13 October. After which exactly 20 days i.e. on the new moon day of Kartik month, the festival of Diwali is considered.
This day has great importance in Hinduism. According to religious beliefs and legends, the relation of this day is associated with Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram. According to Ramayana, on the new moon day of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, he returned to Ayodhya after completing his 14 years of exile. In honor of which all the people of Ayodhya had garlanded the lamp, which came to be celebrated as Diwali. According to other beliefs, this day is also known as Deep Utsav. The festival of Diwali is believed to signify the victory of light over darkness. According to astrology, there is a tradition of worshiping Lord Ganesha on this day along with Goddess Lakshmi. Apart from worshiping various religious texts on this day, various measures are taken.

Do this work before Diwali
Mix honey in some raw milk. Make two parts of it, in which one part should be mixed in the bath water of the members of the household, while with the other part, purify every area of the house. It is believed that by doing this remedy, the negative energy spread in the lives of the people of the house and family is removed and especially on the day of Diwali, wealth and prosperity comes in the house.
Before Diwali, the house should be cleaned thoroughly to get Lakshmi to enter the house. It is often seen that some people are engaged in cleaning the houses till the day of Diwali but this should not happen. Take special care that a few days before Diwali, do the work of cleaning the house. Because according to religious beliefs, Mother Lakshmi never resides in a house which is in disarray.
Any house whose windows, doors or furniture is damaged or broken, it should be repaired ahead of time. It is said that with this positive energy resides in the house. Along with this, it should also be kept in mind that there should not be any sound while opening or closing the door.
