Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while praising the Institutional Deliver System in Mewat (Nuh) district of Haryana, said that when this district was included in the list of Aspirational Districts in 2018, the rate of Institutional Delivery was 50.61 percent and through the continuous efforts of the State government, it has increased to 92.2 percent which is a matter of pride for the state government and the administration.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has praised the work of Haryana Government, in the past many times, the Prime Minister had said that other states should follow the welfare policies and programmes of Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal. The central government also adopts their policies, programmes and ensure to implement them throughout the country. Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi, today took the review meeting of the Aspirational District Programme. During the review meeting, the Chief Ministers of various states, Lieutenant Governors, Secretaries of various Ministries, State Ministers and District Commissioners directly interacted with the Prime Minister through video conferencing. The Prime Minister took detailed information about the successful implementation of the Aspirational District Programme.
Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal, Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Additional Chief Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance and Planning Department, Sh. TVSN Prasad, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar and many senior officers were present during the meeting.
Aspirational District Programme was implemented to develop better health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion, skill development and other basic facilities for the citizens so that all round development of selected districts can be achieved. The Prime Minister also praised the government for working to give global identity to the district Nuh of the State and vision of promoting One District-One Product scheme based on the speciality of each district. He also praised the government for making available Ayushman Bharat, pension schemes and public welfare services and schemes in a time bound manner through good governance. Their implementation has brought about social and economic changes for the people, he said.
