Applications open for Scholarships upto Rs 20 lakhs each for MS(Data Analytics and Computational Social Science), MS(Applied Economics), and Master of Public Policy programs from UMass Amherst, a top-tier public university in the US.
The prestigious LSEF-UMass Scholarships were first offered in 2018 by Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation (LSEF) and University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass) to make high quality global education accessible to meritorious students from India
15 scholarships will be funded by UMass Amherst and LSEF in 2020, covering upto 50 percent of the tuition and academic fees for the two-year programmes leading to a Master’s degree from UMass Amherst and upto 3 years of employment authorization (OPT). Students who have completed (or will complete in 2020) at least a 3-year undergraduate degree from an accredited University in India are eligible to apply. The selection will be based on applicants’ academic record, letters of recommendation, statement of purpose and personal interview with UMass Amherst and LSEF.
