Residents of Delhi are in for a treat as National Book Trust, India and North Delhi Municipal Corporation have decided to organize a book fair every year. With the focal theme of ‘Swacch Bharat and Swasth Bharat’, the first edition of the Book Extravaganza will be held in December this year . A memorandum of understanding was signed between NBT and NDMC at Civic Centre, NDMC’s headquarters here today.
As per the MOU, NBT will provide technical support to NDMC in organizing the book fair and also hold a number of book-related events. On behalf of NBT, its Director Dr M A Sikandar, while NDMC was represented by its commissioner, Shri P K Gupta.
