America has ordered to suspend and review the aid given to other countries to ensure whether this aid is in line with its foreign policy under the agenda of ‘America First’ or not.
Under this order, aid of 40 crores to Bangladesh, 23.10 crores to Pakistan and 1 billion dollars to Afghanistan has been stopped. Aid of 17.50 crores to India has also been stopped. Apart from these, aid of 11.80 crores to Nepal and 12.30 crores to Sri Lanka has also been affected among the countries whose aid has been stopped by America.
US State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said, according to President Trump, if we are not getting any benefit in return for the aid, then we will not give money indiscriminately.
