In solidarity with the people of Uttarakhand in this hour of difficulty, NTPC the largest power utility in the country is associating with Uttarakhand Govt. to provide relief to the flood ravaged State. NTPC has stationed its helicopter in Dehradun at the disposal of the state Government for using it for evacuation and relief work. In a letter addressed to Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Dr. Arup Roy Choudhury , CMD NTPC expressed his deep pain on hearing of the natural calamity. He said NTPC stands by the government and people of Uttarakhand in this hour of grief. NTPC Family has decided to contribute Rs 3 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
