Under the directions of the Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare J P Nadda, a high level team of doctors has been directed to leave for Badwani, Indore for supporting the state government of Madhya Pradesh to enhance their capacity in addressing the cases in the recent episode where some persons are reported to have lost their eye sight in a health camp where cataract surgeries were performed. The Health Minister Shri J P Nadda stated: “A central team of doctors will help the patients fearing loss of vision after surgery at an eye camp”.
The central team consisting of six senior eye surgeons/doctors from AIIMS will reach Indore tomorrow. The team consists of Dr Atul Kumar, Dr Sudershan Khokhar, Dr Raghav, Dr Talvir Sidhu, Dr Tejaswini, and Dr Abhishek Sameer.
