Mumbai : Reliance Industries AGM 2024 was held on 29 August 2024. In this meeting, Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani made many important announcements. One of these announcements was also the announcement of bonus shares (RIL Bonus Share). Mukesh Ambani had said in the AGM that the company is considering giving 1:1 bonus shares to the shareholders i.e. 1 share for 1 share.

An important announcement has been made by Reliance Industries for the shareholders. Today, a decision has been taken regarding bonus shares in the board meeting of the company. As per the decisions taken in the board meeting, the stockholder will get shares in the ratio of 1:1. This means that 1 share will be received for 1 share.

When were bonus shares given (RIL Bonus History)
Reliance Industries has given bonus shares to shareholders six times so far. For the first time, bonus shares were given to shareholders in 1980 in the ratio of 3:5. At the same time, the highest bonus share was given in 1983 in the ratio of 6:10. After this, bonus shares were given in 1:1 ratio in 1997, 2009 and 2017. Even today the board meeting has announced to give bonus shares in 1:1 ratio.
