🤖 Google Search AI Mode Gets Smarter
Alongside Motorola’s launch, Google has enhanced its Search AI Mode with a new feature called “Personal Intelligence in AI Mode.”
🔹 Personalized Search Results
The update allows AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers to optionally connect:
Gmail
Google Photos
This enables the AI to deliver more personalized search responses based on a user’s preferences, bookings, and past activity.
🔍 How It Works
For example:
If a user searches for a jacket for a trip, the AI can analyze flight confirmations in Gmail and suggest clothing brands based on the destination’s weather.
Shopping and travel recommendations can be tailored using personal context—only with user consent.
🔐 User Data Control
Google emphasized that:
The feature is opt-in only
Users can disconnect Gmail or Photos at any time
Data control remains entirely with the user
Currently, this feature is available as a Google Labs experiment for AI Pro and Ultra users in the United States.
