Jaipur, India : Renowned Indian wildlife filmmaker and conservationist Mike Pandey has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Legacy Award by Jackson Wild, a global nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting wildlife conservation through media.

The Legacy Award, considered one of Jackson Wild’s highest honors, recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the field of natural history filmmaking and conservation. Past recipients include legendary figures such as Sir David Attenborough, Jimmy Stewart, and Dr. Jane Goodall.

In a press release, Jackson Wild highlighted Pandey’s “incredible passion for wildlife conservation and environmental protection.” They praised his work for leaving an “indelible mark” not only in India but worldwide.

The award will be officially presented at the Jackson Wild Media Awards Gala in September.
