Mahakumbh 2025

As the Mahakumbh 2025 approaches, significant measures have been implemented to manage the vast number of visitors expected at the event. Starting from today, external vehicles are banned from entering the Mahakumbh area. This decision has been taken by the authorities, considering the large influx of pilgrims during the Republic Day weekend. The ban aims to reduce congestion, ensure the safety of visitors, and streamline traffic management.

Traffic Restriction Announcement

Amit, the traffic officer in charge, confirmed that external vehicles will no longer be permitted inside the Mahakumbh venue starting today. This move comes ahead of the Republic Day holidays, which typically see a surge in visitors. The decision was made to avoid unnecessary traffic congestion and to facilitate the safe movement of pilgrims. As the Mahakumbh is one of the world’s largest religious gatherings, maintaining a well-organized traffic system is essential for the safety and convenience of everyone involved.
