IMD has told that there may be hailstorm at different places including Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. In such a situation, the farmers of these states have become worried.
According to IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rains at isolated places in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh. If we talk about North West India, there is a strong possibility of heavy rains with thunder, lightning and strong winds in the plains. On the other hand, if we talk about the Western Himalayan region, there may be light to moderate rain with snowfall, thunder, lightning and strong winds.
At the same time, there is a possibility of hailstorm at different places including Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Rajasthan. The Meteorological Department has also predicted heavy rains accompanied by thunder, lightning and strong winds for the next five days in the southern part of the country.
On May 1, heavy rains may occur at different places in Rayalaseema and Tamil Nadu. The possibility of rain has also been expressed in Kerala. It is expected to rain in the north and south of Karnataka as well. Rain will also be seen in Coastal Andhra Pradesh. The coming four days are going to be very important for Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The reason for this is that there will be heavy rains in these states.

Hailstorm may also occur in Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Sikkim. Heavy rainfall may occur at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till May 2 and over Odisha today. Heavy rain is likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on May 1 and May 2 and Assam and Meghalaya from May 1 to May 4.
